I am an entrepreneur & content creator with a background as a restaurateur & chef.  I cut my teeth in the hospitality world of the 90’s, running my first restaurant at 23 y/o in Manchester.  From there I went on to run restaurants for industry legends Raymond Blanc and Sir Terrance Conran.  I won pub of the year 2005 in the UK when I was a director for the Victorian Chop House Co before operating my own Michelin-listed, award winning brasserie; Marmalade.

In my 40’s I moved out of hospitality and into starts ups, founding or co-founding 3 other business;

Food Busker the weekly online media food show started life as a joint venture with Jamie Oliver, with close to ½ million followers over 3 platforms, 280k subscribers and 37 million views on YouTube.  This included the TV show Food Junkies, a monthly column for Time Out, a series of films for the Canadian Tourist Board and articles for The Guardian to name but a few partnerships.

I co-founded Cru Kafe in 2012 to provide organic, fair trade specialty coffee in a Nespresso compatible pod.  A high growth start-up with a disruptive mandate I was responsible for strategy, product and marketing. CRU is now sold in Waitrose, Booths, Selfridges as well as stocked at many of the world’s top five-star hotels.

In 2018 I helped my wife, psychotherapist Charlotte Ferguson launch skincare and wellness company Disciple London. Focusing on CBD and adaptogens, this ground breaking business is now stocked in Boots, John Lewis and Holland & Barrett to name but a few.

I have had successes and failures both in business and in life and I’m a huge advocate for personal growth: over the past two decades I’ve been in recovery, had various forms of therapy, a daily meditator, fasting, gut health work and explored many of the emerging healing modalities; holotropic breathing, psychedelic and shamanic ceremonies. This informs my approach to everything I do.
